The launch of the first MasterCard application in Russia
To create a successful app, we had to make it more convenient and manageable than most competitors’ apps. This would increase the usage frequency and get a good indicator of user return.
Solution
Focus on the user’s needs
We decided to focus on the needs of the most active users, who pay several mobile phone bills and transfer money regularly. We have provided the UX/UI design and developed software for the app.
Main screen
As a result of many interface design iterations, we’ve come to the following scheme: any payment is calculated and displayed on the main screen in a compact form, so you can repeat it with one tap.

Card details
It is not necessary to enter the credit card details — they can be recognized by a video camera of your phone. All details are stored on a secure server of MasterCard after making the payment, and you do not need to enter data again.

Virtual cards
The app allows you to get and store virtual cards for secure payments on the Internet. Card details are hidden so they can not be seen outside. At the same time, they are available with one tap for the owner of the card and can be shared by email.
